In 2011, Jonathan set out to find a vehicle that simply did not exist. It had to work as hard as a race van, live like a premium motorhome and look the part. Nothing on the market came close.

So he built it himself.

Word spread. Friends asked for one. Then friends of friends. Today, refined through more than a decade of real-world experience, every AB Race Cruiser is handcrafted under one roof. Each conversion is built to perform, designed to live in and made to last.

Our Process

How It Works

Get in touch

Use our Convert a Van builder to select your own or one of our available base vehicles, create an initial specification and receive a free quote followed by a call from our team. Alternatively, call us directly to discuss your needs, budget and ideal build. If we don’t have your dream base vehicle in stock, we can usually source it.

Refine Your Specification

We’ll work with you to refine your initial specification and confirm the complete price. You’re also welcome to visit our Chesterfield HQ, see the build process and explore similar conversions.

Secure Your Build Slot

When you’re ready to go ahead, a small deposit of up to £1,000 will secure your workshop build slot. We’ll then finalise everything from the layout and garage length to upholstery and upgrades.

The Build

Our team will handcraft your conversion entirely under one roof, with most builds completed in one week. We’ll also keep you updated with photographs and videos throughout the process.

Handover

When your conversion is complete, we’ll provide a full walkthrough, demonstrate how everything works and answer any final questions before handing over the keys to your brand new AB Race Cruiser!
